In August 2018, 24 students graduated from Memorial Christian College of Health Sciences, well prepared to care for the health needs of the people of Bangladesh.
Students from numerous districts of Bangladesh studied intense courses ranging from pharmacology to human anatomy and practical skills. Throughout the past 3 years, they studied and practiced under the tutelage of their teachers and supervisors at Memorial Christian Hospital. They conducted free health screenings for the local people and taught preventative medicine. The graduates eagerly anticipate serving the people of Bangladesh in the years ahead.
At the graduation ceremony, each graduate was challenged by examples in the Holy Scriptures – not to be served but to serve others. At the end of the ceremony, graduates were presented with practical gifts such as a stethoscope. Afterwards, family members and friends interacted with graduates, doctors, teachers, and preceptors in the health college building.
