Now that monsoon rains have stopped and travel has become more feasible, Malumghat Hospital Project sent a team of 12- doctors, nurses, medics, and teachers- by boat to a remote village in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. Though community health workers have visited several times, the needs remain, and crowds flocked in. Our national co-workers spoke on “fear”, and they urged people to stay for the evening DVDs, which would be powered by portable generator. All the people stayed up all night long both nights to watch every film that had been taken. Leaders met to plan AWANA clubs for area children. It was a grand time of doing village mid-wife teaching, seeing patients, and sharing truth.
